Perhaps the Star could be called the luckiest card in the pack, but it is also a deeply spiritual card. It often appears when you're going through a time of intense renewal in your life, usually after a difficult time or experience. You feel like you are being led out of the darkness and into the light, being given renewed hope and opportunity, guidance and direction, and your mind is set on rising higher into spiritual awareness and understanding.

When the Star appears, it reassures you that no matter how bad things may become, or how dark they feel inside, there is a glimmer of hope that, if it is nurtured, will grow, and spread its light to all parts of your life. You are being given a chance at new life, a rebirth of sorts, through increased awareness and rejuvenation of energy, hope, and direction.  This is a breath of fresh air, a spiritual pampering of the soul, a restoration of faith. Often the Star signifies the end of a difficult time or a period of conflict.

In a social situation, it indicates peace making, with rivalries and enmities being healed and all participants moving on. Any pettiness between people is let go so that they might all move on, heal, In love, the Star indicates the kind of relationship that heals both parties, provides them with inspiration and hope, renews their passion and ability to love, and ushers in a new era of peace and harmony.

For work, projects, careers, and goals, the Star is a truly wonderful card to receive. It signifies hopes, dreams, and wishes coming true—not necessarily through effort, but instead through synchronicity or chance or a bit of luck. Everything just seems to fall into place, and you will enjoy a clear path towards future goals.

The Star might also indicate you achieving some sort of recognition, fame, or fortune, and your light will shine brightly for all who to see.

Sometimes the Star can also represent you “following your star”—carrying within yourself glimmer of a dream that you can nurture and listen to, letting it guide you toward achieving the dream and making it bigger and more manifest. You are encouraged to chase your dreams and wishes, and to take every opportunity that comes your way, as it will all lead toward achieving that dream.

The Star can also point to an interest toward a more spiritual way of thinking and being. You may have an interest in the New Age movement, spirituality, religion, mysticism, ecology, and any associated practices, such as meditation, crystal or sound healing, or Reiki. Anything concerning healing is of particular interest to you, as you may wish to help other through the difficult, wounded feelings you yourself have undergone and overcome.

Occasionally the Star can also signify you has a spiritual gift of some kind, such as the ability to see auras or clairvoyance.
